Weary of credit card chargebacks, eHarmony has enlisted Interceptas technology to intercept bad-ass credit card fraudsters, according to its press release today.
Accertify pays to publish a lot of press releases, but I did find two news articles that hopefully they didn’t pay for:
- Venturing Forward With Accertify CEO Jeffery Liesandahl in Schaumburg, Ill, MidwestBusiness.com, dated 16 Oct 2008
- As Fishy Orders Rise, Startup Plans Product to Manage Online Fraud, DigitalTransactions.net, dated 18 July 2007
It’s interesting that the eHarmony press release never even hints of or mentions RelyID and Iovation’s ReputationManager.
What’s your recent experience with scammer profiles? Have you encountered any lately in eHarmony?
