“My One-Month Quest to be on the E-Harmony Ad”

If I were her, I would have given myself six weeks.

I am writing this blog as a documentation of my newest quest : to find my soulmate and be 1/2 of the happy couple on one of those E-harmony ads on tv.

I am giving myself 1 month and attempting to have an open mind about this experience.

From the new blog: My Quest to be on the E-Harmony Ad, started 28 September 2009

Kidding aside, we wish her good luck.

P.S. We recommend our “Did you just join eHarmony for a month” tipsheet.

    Entry for October 8, 2009:
“…I need your input on whether or not I should continue this blog for another month.”

Saw that one coming from the original post. A month to find Mr. Right?

    Two other interesting things:
eHarmony Jack commented on her blog:
“Sorry you haven’t felt good about your matches recently! You might want to contact our Customer Care team to see if there are settings you could adjust to possibly get more matches and possibly more compatible matches.”

Hmm. I wonder what they would have to say about me if I started a more day-to-day about my eHarmony experience for the past couple of years?

She calls them up to complain and:
“Then I asked the lady for the 26 levels of compatibility I was being matched on with these losers. She corrected me that it was actually twenty-NINE levels of compatibility and she could not tell me what these were. After she sat silently on the phone with me for 5 minutes as she searched for these dimensions (hmm. . . .shouldn’t this be on a poster somewhere in the Eharm HQ?) I asked her to send me an e-mail with them when she finds them. . . .She then offered me a consolation prize! She extended my Eharmony membership for another month for free!!”

    1) Ouch. Yeah. Apparently, the training is lacking for customer service. Perhaps she should have searched our blog. ;)
    2) What-The-Fudge. They repeatedly match me with actual scammers, I call and complain and I get nothing out of them.

I’m just glad that they have someone reaching out proactively to customers now. It took them years to figure it out.

Although Jack may have received explicit instructions never interact with that pinoy.ca site….

She paid $60, so it’s no biggie she got an extra month for that hilarious snafu. Someone here got 6 months for $30.

Her post last Tuesday sounds promising.

I do have to wonder about that.
