eHarmony reminds subscribers to fill out their profile

I was updating my profile yesterday and I decided to leave the last question blank (Is there anything else you want your matches to know about you)…

Lo and behold, when I went to communicate with a match, this suggestion pops up on the page of the match I am attempting to communicate with:

completeyouraboutme

Interesting.  eHarmony is now “nudging” subscribers with incomplete profiles to complete them…

I wonder how many active subscribers will continue to ignore the suggestion box?

If most people get tired of seeing it, if they are actively communicating on the site, they should have complete profiles.  If you see an incomplete profile, the odds are now heavily in favor of that member not being a subscriber.

Has anyone else observed this or know when they initially deployed this?

Count me among those who ignore it. I’ve had a question unanswered for the longest time.
