Set theory as summed up by the typical eHarmony user experience.
Got it? Class dismissed…
Way back in the day of the “hold ” feature, you could nudge a match again. They got rid of “hold”, changed things around on us and this trick went away.
However, it looks like I have found a way to send a second nudge with the recent changes of the archived tab. I haven’t seen anyone else mention this (I stumbled upon it while clearing out matches from last year in my communicating tab).
Here is what you do: Continue Reading »
I can confirm that this works in recent accounts. I must mention however that non-subscribers cannot reopen matches, even during free weekends. …
So are all the different cheesy e-mail subject headings on their way out, too?

A previous post on here explained how the notification system is separate from the matching system. Nothing should change in terms of matching frequency/number of matches/etc. but I guess users should keep on the alert and be ready to voice their complaints in case eHarmony managed to slip something in the works with this update…

Apparently, here is the explanation. It is also probably why all those women are closing you out, err…archiving you. ;)
I heard about it on the radio and the sound byte from the brief interview with the author goes like this:
Your Venn diagram strokes the ego, doesn't it? Your potential dates are exactly those who like you more than you like them. Does this mean they'll pay for the dinners? …
